Soap & Detergents Manufacturing Waste Streams We Handle

Detergent production generates alkaline and surfactant-based waste streams. Our service manages:

  • Caustic soda and alkaline solutions

  • Concentrated surfactant waste

  • Fragrance oils and perfume compounds

  • Off-specification batches

  • Process equipment cleaning waste

We handle all compliance requirements including:

  • Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes

  • pH and corrosivity assessment

  • EWC and HP code assignment

  • Environmental permit compliance

  • Notifications to Environment Agency, SEPA, and NRW

Collection and Transport

We coordinate scheduled collections through our network of licensed, ADR-compliant hauliers, aligned with production cycles and batch changeovers. Our haulier network includes vehicles suitable for high-pH liquid waste, operating nationwide across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Our collection capability ranges from single drum uplifts to full articulated loads. We handle small-scale collections of individual 205-litre drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), and palletised waste. For larger volumes, we arrange multi-pallet collections up to 24 pallets per load, plus bulk tanker services including alkali-resistant tankers for caustic solutions, surfactant waste, and high-pH process waters. Regular scheduled collections can be established for ongoing production waste, whilst ad-hoc uplifts accommodate batch failures, product recalls, and equipment cleaning cycles. Our specialist haulier network is experienced in handling corrosive materials safely with appropriate vehicle specifications and driver training.
