Glue & Adhesive Manufacturing
Hazardous Waste Management for Adhesive Manufacturers
Simply Waste Consultants delivers specialist waste disposal for resin producers, adhesive formulators, and converting operations across England, Scotland, and Wales. Reactive chemistries and curing systems demand expert handling—we provide compliant management for all adhesive manufacturing waste streams.
Glue & Adhesive Manufacturing Waste Streams We Handle
Adhesive production creates complex waste including reactive and time-sensitive materials. Our service covers:
Uncured resins and hardeners
Solvent-based adhesive waste
Water-based adhesive sludges
Partially cured or set materials
Off-specification batches
Contaminated containers and equipment
Production line cleaning waste
Classification and Compliance Support
Adhesive waste classification must account for curing state, component ratios, and reactivity. Our experienced team list and classify each waste stream accurately, determining appropriate classifications and any special handling requirements.
We manage all regulatory compliance including:
Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes
REACH substance restrictions compliance
EWC and HP code assignment
Reactive waste handling protocols
Transport classification for partially cured materials
Collection and Transport
We coordinate responsive collection services through our network of licensed, specialist hauliers, including same-day emergency uplifts for reactive waste. Our haulier network operates nationwide across England, Scotland, and Wales with expertise in handling unstable adhesive materials safely.
Our collection capability ranges from single drum uplifts to full articulated loads. We handle small-scale collections of individual 205-litre drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), and palletised waste. For larger volumes, we arrange multi-pallet collections up to 24 pallets per load, plus bulk tanker services for liquid adhesive waste and uncured resin systems. Emergency same-day collections are available for reactive waste requiring immediate removal, partially cured materials with limited shelf stability, and production upsets generating time-sensitive waste. Regular scheduled collections support ongoing manufacturing operations efficiently.
