Simply Waste Consultants provides cost-effective waste disposal for commercial printers, packaging producers, and screen printing facilities across England, Scotland, and Wales. From solvent-based inks to fountain solutions, we handle the full range of printing waste whilst supporting your environmental certification requirements.

Printing Waste Streams We Handle

Printing operations generate regular volumes of classified waste requiring consistent collection. Our service covers:

  • Printing inks (solvent, UV, water-based)

  • Solvent-based cleaning solutions

  • Plate processing chemicals

  • Fountain solutions and additives

  • Contaminated rags and wipes

  • Developer and fixer solutions

  • Wash-up waste and sludges

We provide full compliance support including:

  • Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes

  • EWC and HP code assignment

  • ISO 14001 waste data and reporting

  • VOC reporting data where applicable

  • Duty of Care documentation

Collection and Transport

We coordinate flexible collection services through our network of licensed, ADR-compliant hauliers. Regular uplifts prevent waste accumulation whilst maintaining compliance across England, Scotland, and Wales, accommodating varying production schedules and job patterns.

Our collection capability ranges from single drum uplifts to full articulated loads. We handle small-scale collections of individual 205-litre drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), and palletised waste. For larger volumes, we arrange multi-pallet collections up to 24 pallets per load, plus bulk tanker services for liquid printing waste including solvent cleaners, fountain solutions, and wash-up waste. Regular scheduled collections can be established based on your print run patterns—weekly for high-volume operations or monthly for smaller facilities. We supply appropriate segregated waste containers including solvent cabinets, ink drum stores, and rag bins suitable for printing environments.
