Hazardous Waste Management for Distribution and Warehousing
Simply Waste Consultants provides hazardous waste solutions for logistics operators, 3PLs, and distribution centres across England, Scotland, and Wales. Damaged goods, expired stock, and mixed product returns all create waste management challenges—we deliver compliant disposal that protects your operation and maintains service levels.
Distribution & Warehousing Waste Streams We Handle
Warehousing and logistics generate unpredictable waste volumes and product mixes. Our service manages:
Damaged chemical products
Expired or out-of-date stock
Customer returns (opened or contaminated)
Mixed chemical consignments
Aerosols and pressurised containers
Spillage clean-up materials
Contaminated packaging and pallets
Classification and Compliance Support
Mixed or unknown chemical waste is common in warehousing—accurate identification is essential before collection can proceed legally. Our experienced team list and classify each waste stream accurately, ensuring compliant segregation throughout.
We handle all compliance requirements including:
Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes
Product identification and EWC coding
UN classification for transport
Waste Carrier documentation
Insurance and stock write-off reports where required
Collection and Transport
We coordinate rapid response collections for spillage incidents and planned uplifts for routine damaged stock through our network of licensed, ADR-compliant hauliers operating nationwide across England, Scotland, and Wales. Flexible scheduling minimises disruption to warehouse operations.
Our collection capability ranges from single drum uplifts to full articulated loads. We handle small-scale collections of individual 205-litre drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), and palletised waste. For larger volumes, we arrange multi-pallet collections up to 24 pallets per load, plus bulk tanker services where liquid waste volumes warrant. Emergency same-day collections are available for spillage incidents, damaged stock requiring immediate removal, and customer return surges. Regular scheduled collections can be established to manage ongoing damaged goods and expired inventory efficiently.
